First time here. Had the hamburger steak, snap beans and potato salad. Let me tell you. I smashed my lunch plate. Even went into the kitchen and told the owner how much i enjoyed it. Told him, I could eat the potato salad for breakfast. He gave me a container of potato salad to take home. I WILL be back. Definitely will be back. Everything tasted like he started cooking and prepping at 5am like your grandfather/mother did on Sundays. Mr. Pete...your a hidden gem. Should have a line all the way to canal waiting to taste your meals. Thank you again. Very friendly staff. First food review I have ever left btw. It was that good.

If you want some Louisiana small business love you have to come here. Every person that came in relieved a harm welcome with great coffee. The food was good and the service authentic. Class and traditional.

The food is really good. Prices are cheaper than most. The setting is simple and comfortable. The staff is damn nice and inviting. I love this place. I cant always make it as much as i'd like because of work, but when i can, i make it a point to eat here. I definitely recommend.

Small little mom and pop cafe. We went for breakfast and ordered omelettes with hashbrowns. It's around $9-12 for an omelette plate with hashbrowns and two pieces of toast. Friendly and efficient service. Very affordable prices. They take cash and card.

Delicious. Super fresh. Great service. My pork chop was perfectly seasoned, melt in your mouth on the inside with a crispy outside. It was a perfect meal to welcome us to New Orleans.
